Close up of Brown wood effect PVCu or plastic soffit fascia and guttering on modern new build residential property
Fascia is a term used to describe the horizontal “fascia board” which caps the end of rafters outside a building, which can be used to hold the rain gutter.
The finished surface below the fascia and rafters is called the soffit or eave.
Soffits are an integral part of the roofline system enclosing and protecting the underside of the roof edge, while providing ventilation to the inner roof area to minimise the risk of trapped moist air. They provide a highly effective and visually appealing long-term solution to regular maintenance.
No longer available in just white, there are a wide range of colours, sizes and styles to choose from to suit any style of roof.
The examples shown here are MFP Eavemaster Fascia & Soffit products.
